Jim Hall. A principal, if not the principal founder of the NSVA in britain has passed away. He was President of the NSVA for a time and had the distinction of having membership card number One. He also was one of the principal members of Fine City Vans of which I'm proud to say I was a member. Jim inspired a great many people to become Vanners and we did some fantastic stuff back there in the Seventies and early Eighties. Some was raising money for charities and a lot was just plain having fun. Lots of friends that I made up and down the country were as a direct result of what Jim started. This also led to me meeting my Wife and I don't know where I'd be without her. At the moment, there are no Funeral Plans but I intend to publish them here as and when I become aware. I hope that Jim has gone to the Hotel California in the sky and all the engines up there are are Daimler V8s (or Pratt&Whitney Wasp, Double Wasp, R4360, Rolls Royce Griffon, Merlin, etc. Attachments:
